Samantha Horton obtained her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Murdoch University and went on to become a fully-qualified Professional Accountant, forging a decade-long career. Sam has vast accounting knowledge in insolvency, business and tax services, and self-managed super funds. In need of a change in pace, Sam took up a Practice Accountant position at a large medical centre, where her love of bookkeeping began. Sam has gained vast experience in the medical industry, specifically in general practice and allied health providers. Sam is also a registered BAS Agent and specialises in cloud accounting software, currently holding Xero certifications as an Advisor, Payroll and Migration.
Penny Day worked as a Management Accountant in the UK before relocating to Perth in 2006. With a wealth of accounting knowledge and experience across many industries throughout Europe, she specialised in improving businesses accounting systems, structure, and processes. A different pace of life awaited her in Perth, where she has been working as a senior bookkeeper for a number of WA businesses, often taking the lead in directing accounting software changes where appropriate, but mainly being a steady, reliable and trusted backroom support.
